The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national-level engineering entrance exam in India, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It serves as the gateway for admission into National Institutes of Technology(NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs), and other centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). 

Additionally, it is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, required for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria 

If you are going to fill out JEE Mains Application Form 2025, then you must fulfil the Eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main are set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025. There is no age limit, but institutes may have specific age criteria. Candidates can attempt JEE Main for up to three consecutive years.

Required subjects depend on the chosen course: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, with Chemistry, Biology, or a technical subject for B.Tech/B.E. and Mathematics for B.Arch/B.Planning. Admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs requires a minimum of 75% in Class 12 (65% for reserved categories).

JEE Main Required Documents 

Candidates need Documents time of Registration and Exam as well as time for counselling. 

You’ll need to have the following documents when applying for the JEE Main exam:

  • Scanned passport-size photograph
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Signature
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Debit/internet banking/UPI receipt for application fee payment

To take the JEE Main exam, you’ll need to bring the following documents:

How to Apply JEE Main Application Form 2025? 

The JEE Main 2025 application form can be filled out by following the steps given below:

Visit the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in

Click on the “New Candidate Registration” link. 

Fill in the required details and create a password of your choice to register for the exam.

After registration, candidates will receive details of JEE Main Registration number and password in their mobile number and email ID. Candidates need to log in using their credentials to fill out the JEE Main application form

JEE Main Form Correction

The JEE Main form correction window is provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to allow candidates to edit certain details in their application form after submission. It is available for a limited time after the registration period closes. Candidates can correct fields such as personal details, academic information, exam center choices, and uploaded images.

However, some details, like the mobile number and email ID, cannot be changed. A correction fee may apply for certain modifications. To make corrections, candidates must log in to the official JEE Main website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) using their credentials.

JEE Main Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 

The JEE Main Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It will be released around 1 week before releasing of final Admit card. JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card will be released on the NTA official website. The exam date is out and is scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2025. Only the JEE Main registered candidates will be eligible to download the city allotment slip.

JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2025 – Which City to Expect?

The cities in India and abroad where the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 will be held are mentioned by NTA in its official information brochure. In the City Intimation slip, NTA will select the exam city as the applicant’s choice and the availability of exam center/seats. Therefore, candidates usually get their exam city from among those selected in the JEE Main Application Form.

The JEE Mains Session 2 admit card 2025 will be released separately for each exam date. JEE Mains admit card session 2 downloads will start on March 29. For Paper 2 A (B.Arch):

Part I: Questions will be asked from Mathematics subject. The topics are similar to the ones mentioned above in Paper 1 of Mathematics.

Part II: This part includes aptitude test. Students must prepare from topics such as Awareness of persons, places, textures & objects related to architecture & building, analytical reasoning, buildings &materials, visualizing 3D objects from 2D drawings, etc.

Part III: This part covers the drawing test in which students must know about sketch scenes & activities from memory of urbanscape (festivals, public space, street scenes, markets, monuments, recreational spaces, etc). rural life & landscape (riverfronts, Jungle, Gardens, trees, Plants, etc.). This part is conducted on a drawing sheet and students are advised to bring pencils, a geometry box, crasets, pencils, crayons, etc.

 For Paper 2 B (B.Plan):

Part I: The topics in Part 1 of Paper 2B consist of questions from Mathematics subject. The topics will be similar to the ones mentioned above in Papers 1 & 2A of Mathematics.

Part II: An aptitude test will be conducted in this part. Questions will be asked from topics -Awareness of persons, places, textures & objects related to architecture & building, visualising 3D objects from 2D drawings, buildings &materials, analytical reasoning, etc.

Part III: This part contains questions related to various topics of planning. The part will cover various questions from topics – General Awareness, Social sciences & Thinking skills.

JEE Main Cut-off

For JEE Main 2025, expect the qualifying percentile for the General category to be around 92-100, EWS around 83-92, OBC-NCL around 78-92, and SC around 61-92. To pass in JEE Main Cut off will vary as per category. Hence to get a best college score is important. 

JEE Main Counselling 2025: Registration, Process & Dates
