Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is a public technical university established by an act of Parliament of India and is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India with an emphasis on engineering whereas programmes in science and management are also offered. 

Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT), formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) Jaipur is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. It was named after Madan Mohan Malaviya. The institute is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has been accredited by the NBA.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur was ranked 43 in the 'Engineering' category, as per NIRF 2024 Ranking. MNIT has signed MoUs with several international universities such as the University of Greenwich London, Stevens Institute of Technology, North Dakota University, University of Saskatchewan, Deakin University, Florida International University, University of Dundee, and Medine Education Mauritius, among others.

Established in 1963, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT or NIT Jaipur) is a public technical university established by an act of Parliament of India and is located in Jaipur, India. MNIT offers a wide variety of studies in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Design, and Humanities. Eight four-year undergraduate courses of study led to the Bachelor of Technology degree and a five-year undergraduate course leading to the Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a total of over 5,000 students.

Postgraduate degrees award Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Urban Planning. There are also doctoral programmes with over 300 students. Popular courses at Malaviya National Institute of Technology include BE/ BTech and MTech. MNIT admission to BTech is done through the JEE Mains entrance examination followed by JoSSA counselling. MSc admissions are based on the IIT JAM entrance examination scores followed by CCMN Counselling.

The institute also has a dedicated training and placement cell that conducts different training and skill-development programmes for students.
